Meeting April 6th
Our regular meeting on April 6 will be a "cook and taste". We will gather in
the kitchen next to Room 101 at the Casa Del Prado at 6:30 pm. SDMS culinary
experts will demonstrate mushroom cooking techniques, and you get to eat the
results. If you like you may bring a mushroom dish or a snack to share, along
with your own favorite beverage.
The "cook and taste" events in prior years have been great parties, and we
expect more of the same. You do not want to miss this meeting!
No Pre-meeting Dinner
Since we will be eating at the meeting, we will not have a pre-meeting dinner.
SDMS Mushroom Fair
The mushroom fair was a smashing success. Good weather, good turnout, good food, a decent variety of species on display, and a good profit for the club when the dust settled. Thanks to all of you who helped!

SDMS Information
The Sporadic Press is published monthly during the mushroom season, from September to May, by the San Diego Mycological Society. Starting with this issue, it will be a web-only publication. Paper copies will be available by special arrangement for the web-impaired. Talk to the editor if you really need a paper copy.
Membership in the society is open to all who are interested in mycology. Membership dues are $20.00 per year, and include a subscription to The Sporadic Press.
If the date on your mailing label is highlighted in yellow, your membership has expired. Please renew promptly.

We meet once a month from October to May on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 pm. Most months, we meet in Room 101 of the Casa Del Prado in Balboa Park. Meetings are free and open to the public. In December and May, we hold potluck parties instead of our regular meetings. Check newsletter for party details.

The sdmyco email list is just for foray announcements, meeting reminders,
and club news. I have to restrict it because members complain if they get too
much email from it.
We have set up a yahoo group for general discussion, but not many people are using it.
