Welcome back! The first meeting of the new season will be on Monday, October 3 in the usual location, Room 101 at the Casa Del Prado in Balboa Park.

No need to go far afield to find mushrooms. Our treasurer, Pat Nolan, will show you the many species of mushrooms commonly found in local lawns and gardens.

Please join us as we kick off our first meeting for the 2011/2012 myco-season.

All California Club Foray

Join mushroomers from all over California (and beyond) at the Albion Field Station near Mendocino for the fifth All California Club Foray. With the NAMA foray coming to California in December 2012, we decided to modify the schedule a bit and offer folks a preview of great California winter fungi! This foray is scheduled during the heart of the winter mushroom season, and is close to excellent mushroom habitat. Meals and the company will be divine! Mt. Pisgah Festival
